Motorized Work Platforms: Safety is Key
The Building Contractors Association (BCA) of Northeast Indiana recently put together a 30-hour training seminar. The primary focus was OSHA standards for construction safety. One of the highlights of the safety seminar was the
education on the proper use of scaffolding and mobile scaffolding. This was done by Granite’s own specialist, Chad Kern. As technology continues to evolve and increase the efficiency of the job site, standards must be changed as well. This can be clearly seen in the advancement of motorized work platforms.
The Power Snappy from Granite is the premier electric work platform in the industry. Now in it’s third generation, it has improved in performance and safety measures. Developed to conform to the 2:1 safety factor required for motorized lifts, the Power Snappy is compliant with best safety practices. The standard guardrails surround the user of the motorized platform to provide a safe working environment. Auto-lock keeps the Power Snappy securely in place when the throttle is not being applied.
