Dear Customers,
We hope and pray that you and your business are making it through this tough time. The COVID-19 pandemic has been unlike anything that we have seen before and we are so thankful for all the health care workers that are putting their lives on the line to care for those in need. We are also appreciative of all the essential workers and businesses that are working right now in the midst of such uncertainty.
Current Operations
We are an “essential business” in the state of Ohio as a company that supplies “steel products” and “construction products”.[1] We are fully complying with the COVID Checklist for employees as stated in the Stay At Home Order.[2] There has been a skeleton crew of office workers over the last two weeks that has been working diligently to take new orders and to ship orders. We are very thankful for our loyal customers who have continued to place orders and to accept shipments during this time. We want to do everything we can as a company to be there for you and to provide product during these times.
April 3 Update on Operations
After much deliberation, we have decided to start up production on April 6, 2020. We are bringing back a small crew to ensure that all social distancing recommendations are followed. The employees that are returning are coming back freely and are ready to get back to work. We will continue to provide hand sanitizer, sanitizing wipes, sanitizing spray, gloves, and masks for all Granite employees. We have the ability to take the temperature of any employee if they feel that they may be becoming sick. In summation we are doing everything possible as a company to ensure the safety and good health of our employees.
What does this mean for our customers?
We have stock on many of our products, from our American Cart line to our scaffolding line of products. If you are in need of something, please contact us via email: support@graniteind.com or via phone: 877-447-2648. We can immediately check stock and if we have a product in stock, we can ship it in 24-48 hours. If a product is not in stock, we will do our best to work with you to find an acceptable lead time and then do our best to get it shipped on or before that ship date.
